Meet Lina Jizmejian, M.S. ATC
A lifelong California native, Lina Jizmejian has an embarked in new territory in the athletic training industry by starting her own business Resilient Sports Medicine, LLC. Lina received her Masters of Science in Athletic Training from California Baptist University in Southern California. With her love of an active lifestyle, this former NCAA Division 1 All-American Athlete in Women’s Water Polo received her credential as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers.

What We Offer
Resilient Sports Medicine is a traveling wellness service in Fresno offering uniquely curated treatments for everything from preventative wellness to orthopedic injury recovery services. We offer honest, effective whole person care, traditional and contemporary treatments for neuromusculoskeletal pain. Each patient is treated as an individual, and treatment suggestions are based on your unique situation.

For those who are brand new patients — includes new patient evaluation and initial treatment. The new patient encounter starts with a thorough history and examination prior to recommendations for care. If a doctor referral is necessary this will be determined at the time of the initial encounter.

For once your initial care plan has been established and initial treatments have been made. Each follow up session will include review of your current status, new issues and follow up treatments. Your on going care may include such therapies as manual therapy, rehabilitative exercise and education. All listed below.

Joint mobilization is a skilled manual therapy technique aimed at improving joint range of motion and reducing pain.

A non-invasive treatment system precisely engineered to locate and quickly resolve soft-tissue disorders by using Active Release Techniques or Passive Release Techniques.

These type of movements can include active and passive stretching of the muscle fibers to improve function by lengthening and shortening the targeted area.

The Compex Neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) device creates unique, strong, but completely non-fatiguing muscle contractions that set off a cascading series of physiologic events. This process reduces the effects of delayed onset muscle soreness and gives the body an optimal healing environment.

Dry needling is is the insertion of a filament needle directly into or over a myofascial trigger point in order to release tension and decrease pain and improving function. Initial visit includes history and examination to determine if dry needling is appropriate for your case.

This unique technique uses an instrument to enable the treatment of scar tissue and fascial restrictions during rehabilitation that allows for faster rehabilitation and with greater success when the goal is restoring range of motion, eliminating pain, and restoring normal function.

Board Certified Athletic Trainers are unable to bill or reimburse for services in the state of California at this time.
